FESTIVAL OF FANTASTIC FILMS
Manchester (Official Selection/Possible Nomination)
We have been informed we are on the ‘Shortlist’ for the ‘Delta award’ of another festival this time closer to home! Manchester’s own ‘Festival of Fantastic films’ specialising in Horror and Sci-fi films is now in it’s eighteenth year.
The three day event will be showcasing new films and old ones and guests include a variety of ghouls, ghosts and victims of horror movies from the ‘Hammer horror’ era, James bond movies along with some of the more famous U.K horrorfilm Directors of the past. This festival we hoping to go to, it’s still a good four hour drive but we feel this one is worth the effort! The ‘Delta award’ is awarded to an accomplished film by which was made with no real production/crew/budget (That’d be us!) but is a distinguished piece of work. Fingers crossed. ‘Chainmail’ will be shown on Sept 1st, morning/afternoon i’m not sure which but check out the their website for more info at; www.fantastic-films.com/festival
If any friends, mates, family, suits, looking to go to the event look out for us we’ll talk to anyone! Maybe we’ll see you there.

Played by Richard Chance
Green is the leader of ‘Beta group’ an SAS team sent in on a recognizance mission, the mission at hand; to retrieve information on the viral outbreak of a small town and recover survivors wherever possible. Green’s team is tight, reliable so taking orders from new recruit SBS lieutenant Anderson isn’t going to be an easy one. Green is a natural leader, a survivor and respects his team they earned it. Loyalty given, he would gladly take a bullet for them, so it comes down to one question; trust. Green doesn’t know Anderson and instinctually doesn’t trust him furthermore Green is harboring a secret of his own, one he must never tell. ‘Beta group’ has already lost one man along the way so there is no room for anymore mistakes…

Played by Michael Himsworth
Anderson joined SAS ‘Beta group’ via SBS on emergency recoup to take over command of the group. Anderson was met with an unwelcoming tightly knit group already firmly commanded by Green. Anderson’s relationship with the rest of the group is a strained one he’s unknown background keeps him separate from the group but he gets on with the job at hand. Through what the group has been through they have banded together and become closer, in this there is one thing they agree on, survival. With supplies rapidly running low and the only source of communication destroyed, these are minor inconveniences to Anderson. He has his own objective to think about one of great urgency and will be stopped at nothing to get it…

Played by John Chance
Weston is part of Green’s tightly knit ‘Beta group’ of which Green refers. To Weston to serve under an old friend such as Green would always be one of honor and pride. They’ve been to hell and back and still live to tell the tales. Weston’s Recognizance mission is namely in favour of finding survivors above all else, so he’s intentions are firmly with Green’s when new recruit Anderson starts laying orders down differently. While Green and Anderson are in the forefront of decision-making Weston follows orders and sticks to his guns although underneath, the pressures of warfare are taking their toll on Weston. He comes to a decision; stand up or give up. Should things get to their very worst in quiet desperation could the unsung take the unlikely role of leadership?
