Is it any good?!

Don’t take my word for it … hear the reviews! :

“The Veil succeeds where countless of its multi-million dollar and fellow indie counterparts have fallen flat on their faces.”

8.5 /10
(Quote from Ulisis Silva) QuietEarth

“Splatter-tastic Zombie Flick makes ebola look like a picnic.”

KKKK 4/5 - Nick Ruskell Kerrang! Magazine

“Great zombie action…Awesome Brit flick with bite!”

Mark Bennet Gorezone Magazine

“The Veil is a very ambitious film and the people behind it deserve a huge amount of credit for managing to realise such a significant vision.”

(Quote from Paul Prichard) Pulpmovies

“The Veil: Heralds the future of Horror. Forget trite comparisons with other films, shove, oneupmanship and crappy ‘debates’ like ‘Brit flicks vs American Movies’, this is where it’s at. The Veil packs more
visceral punch than Cronenberg on Amphetamine sulphate…see it”

Nigel Buckland ‘VIDS’ Review

“Gritty, realistic…The Veil is brutal enough to terrify the dead themselves”

‘The Waiting Room’ Screenplay Nominated ‘Best Horror’ at the International Action on Film Festival in July.

‘The Waiting Room’ Screenplay Nominated ‘Best Horror’

A story by Richard Chance which became the eventual screenplay ‘The Waiting Room’ by Richard Chance and Jonathan Chance was nominated at the International Action on Film Festival writers awards in Pasadena, California on July 29th. Producer and Creator of the AOF Del Weston proudly said “This year’s screenplays if you were nominated were the cream of crop” each year the AOF has gone from strength to strength becoming bigger with every year and 2009 was no exception. The AOF has recently been considered to be one of the top 25 film festivals by ‘Moviemaker’ magazine worth their money in entering. Not a small or minor category, ‘The Waiting Room’s category was for ‘Best Horror Feature screenplay’ a high end nomination to be in.  Our story requires financing and funding to make a reality but by even indie standards in cost is incredibly low. If you have an interest to get involved with us and our project IE; produce, sponsor etc get in contact with us here!

FESTIVAL OF FANTASTIC FILMS

FESTIVAL OF FANTASTIC FILMS

Manchester (Official Selection/Possible Nomination)

We have been informed we are on the ‘Shortlist’ for the ‘Delta award’ of another festival this time closer to home! Manchester’s own ‘Festival of Fantastic films’ specialising in Horror and Sci-fi films is now in it’s eighteenth year.

The three day event will be showcasing new films and old ones and guests include a variety of ghouls, ghosts and victims of horror movies from the ‘Hammer horror’ era, James bond movies along with some of the more famous U.K horrorfilm Directors of the past. This festival we hoping to go to, it’s still a good four hour drive but we feel this one is worth the effort! The ‘Delta award’ is awarded to an accomplished film by which was made with no real production/crew/budget (That’d be us!) but is a distinguished piece of work. Fingers crossed. ‘Chainmail’ will be shown on Sept 1st, morning/afternoon i’m not sure which but check out the their website for more info at; www.fantastic-films.com/festival

If any friends, mates, family, suits, looking to go to the event look out for us we’ll talk to anyone! Maybe we’ll see you there.

P.S) Below at the AOF film festival we hear the film faired well in a 110 capacity Theatre we filled 90 seats, not bad! Concidering we couldn’t make it there to plug it. The audience’s general response was good and they liked the artwork/Posters. The artwork was done by Richard.
